Repsol YPF informs  that following the swap offers made to YPF, S.A. and Astra Compa��a Argentina de Petr�leo, S.A. shareholders in return for new Repsol YPF S.A. shares, the company's stake in YPF S.A. will increase to 99.0%, while increasing its stake in Astra to 99.4%.

In the case of Astra, a total of 18,256,848 ordinary shares have been accepted in the swap. With regard to YPF, the ordinary shares accepted in the swap operation have risen to a total of 4,083,057.

It should be pointed out that the swap offers consisted of two Repsol YPF shares for every YPF share and four Repsol YPF shares for three Astra shares.

Following the closure of the operation and in consequence of the aforementioned results, Repsol YPF will proceed to issue a total of 32,508,578 shares which implies a capital stock increase of 2.7%. After this increase, the company's capital stock will be comprised of 1,220,508,578 shares.
