DURAGAS, with sales of 300,000 tonnes per year, has a 49% share in Ecuador�s LPG distribution market. The company is present throughout the country and has 4 bottling plants and 5 logistical distribution centers.

From the strategical point of view, this operation, which is a continuation of those carried out in 1996 and 1997 in Argentina and Peru, strengthens Repsol�s position in this area of business in Latin America, complementing its LPG production activity with this new distribution market. One of the immediate objectives of Repsol, as far as the marketing of LPG in Ecuador is concerned, is to offer to customers and consumers a product based on a guarantee of quality and efficient service.

In Ecuador, Repsol has a network of 58 service stations, with annual sales of 270 million liters and a 8% market share. Repsol is one of the world�s top LPG operators with sales of 3,000,000 tonnes per year.
