ANTI-FREEZE


Anti-freeze should be used throughout the year to :

  • Protect the cooling circuit
  • Avoid freezing in winter
  • Stop boiling over in summer
  • Protect against corrosion and rust
  • Avoid deposits

The anti-freeze in the refrigeration circuit should be renewed every two years (between 20,000 and 30,000 kilometres).

Anti-freeze is sold pure and diluted in different concentrations. Pure anti-freeze cannot be used directly, it should always be diluted in water.


The concentration to use depends on the external temperature :

Diluted anti-freeze is sold in two colours but this in no way affects its properties.
