The purpose of all Human Resources activity is to help the members of the corporation to attain their objectives, and thus better adapt to change by taking full advantage of technology, processes and manpower. It is a case of making sure the right people are doing the right job at all times throughout the Repsol Group business areas.

Repsol YPF will compete on equal terms with the large multinational companies in its sector. Its activity in coming years will be strongly growth orientated, and will focus on Latin America, where important investments will be made in development projects and new acquisitions, and in all businesses areas, from exploration and production through to electricity, for in the future the various energy sources will become increasingly convergent.

Our corporate structure is world-wide and fully integrated, with a single corporate centre and two central offices in Madrid and Buenos Aires. Our growth horizon stimulates participation and work, and creates a climate of trust and confidence in the company’s future and in the professional promotion of employees and management.

Programmes for Young Graduates are organised annually to promote the incorporation of new Technical Graduates specialised in various subjects to guarantee an adequate staff renewal, geographical mobility and the availability of suitably qualified personnel (

Training is a permanent factor in Repsol’s strategy. The company firmly believes the learning process should never cease. Training Plans are developed following two lines of action. A common management culture and style is strengthened within the Group, and support is given to the introduction of new technology and computer tools, in parallel with the up-dating and development of technical and commercial skills.
