In Spain five fields with a net production of 12,200 boe/d�a and net proven reserves of 9.5 million equivalent petroleum barrels exist. They exist, in addition 5 exploratory blocks that add a net mining dominion of 1,275 km2. Total the annual investment in Spain ascended in 1999 to 24 million euros, 4 million developing one and 20 million in exploration.

 In 1999 Repsol YPF it sold his gas assets of the concession the Barriers, with net reserves of 218,000 equivalent petroleum barrels; by means of this sale, capital gains between 0.34 and 1.160 million euros have been obtained. This sale has been made like continuation of the policy of cleaning of assets of little yield and with little strategic value.
