LATIN AMERICA

Introduction

Repsol YPF has an active presence in different Latin American countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago and Guyana. Altogether, it is involved in 140 production blocks and in over 80 exploration blocks. Repsol � YPF�s mineral property total gross acreage is of over 330,000 km2, of which about 270,000 square kilometers are of exploration blocks and 60,000 km2 are of production and development blocks.

The investment made by Repsol YPF in Exploration and Production in these countries has been of 1.02 billion Euros/year, of which about 860 million Euros were invested in Development efforts and 160 million Euros in Exploration.

The current total production is of over 790,000 Boe per day. Proved net reserves of Repsol YPF in Latin America total 3.76 billion equivalent petroleum barrels broken down into 1.642 billion barrels of crude and 360 billion cubic meters of gas.
