Through its affiliate, Gas Natural, Repsol YPF owns 6,000 kilometres of latest generation optical fibre connecting the main Spanish cities.

The group also has an additional 500 kilometres in the recently opened section of the Cartagena-Puertollano pipeline.

In the future, these assets will lead to the development of new telecommunications businesses, able to serve the group and its affiliates, and third party companies and operators.
