Materials:
- Medium-sized photo frame.
- Petals and small dried flowers.
- Glue stick.
- Tabloid newspaper.
- Pencil.
Steps:
1. Collect small natural flowers and petals. Remove petals and spread out between pages of the newspaper, leaving a space between them. Once in place, they need to be pressed: simply place a weight - can be a jug, a large book or similar � on the closed newspaper. Wait for at least a week for the flowers to dry completely.
2. Cut a piece of paper to fit the frame. Draw the initial with a fine pencil. Place the flowers on the letter to see if the result is satisfactory, attempting all the combinations necessary until you achieve the desired effect.
3. Now you simply have to stick them on. Apply the glue to the back of the flowers and stick them on one by one, taking great care not to stain the paper.
Advices:
- If the bedroom belongs to a child, he or she can help in picking the flowers. This will take several days, and will keep them entertained and happy to help with the decoration. These frames are an original and cheap Christmas present in which all the family can participate. They can be hung above the bed or by the door. The frame can be the same colour as a piece of furniture in the room.
- If you want to give an antiquated look to the piece of white paper, brush over it several times with a cloth dipped in tea and you will see it changes colour completely to take on the appearance of a piece of parchment.
