Utility: Dust off a disused lamp and reuse it.

Materials:
- Pintura negra mate para metal.
- Black paint for metal.
- Brush to apply the paint.
- Tassels to match the colour of the shade.
- Glue.
Steps:
1. Clean the lamp thoroughly. Check that it works perfectly and replace any faulty parts.
Carefully paint the lamp's metal parts (this one was golden), ensuring it is painted all over. Leave to dry for 6 to 7 hours.

Measure the shade and buy the appropriate tassels. Stick on using normal glue. The lamp is now ready to light up the room once more.
Advices:
The simplest way of learning not to throw anything away is to use our imagination. There are no household objects that cannot be reused. Renewing an old item provides huge satisfaction. For a more striking effect, you can buy tassels of a different colour to the shade.
