| Restore an old table, making it blue |
|
Utility: Create a small table for any corner of the house or in the bedroom.
Difficulty: Medium
Cost: Medium
Materials:
- Blue decap� paint (specialized stores).
- White primer paint
- Small brushes (that do not lose bristles).
- An unused or old table. It can be made of any material.
- Alcohol and scouring pad
- Furniture wax.
Steps:
1. First, clean the table well with alcohol. Scrub hard with the scouring pad until all the dirt is gone. Then apply a layer of primer that will let you paint it any color, and allow the primer to dry.
2.
Using blue paint, apply even layers until the table is covered.
3.
Once the paint dries, apply a layer of furniture wax and polish the table with a cotton cloth.
Advices:
- Any old table can be used as an auxiliary table to hold a television or in a foyer.
- Primer is a perfect aid. It is a perfect base for any kind of material, not just wood.
