THE BOUTIQUE THE WEATHER INTERACTIVE CAMPSA GUIDE

Modernize your dining room with a minimalist table
Utility: Modernize an old table and change the look of your dining room.
Difficulty: High
Cost: Average
Materials:
- Small rollers of various sizes. Fine sandpaper and several sheets of n 180.
- White primer.
- Purpurine paint.
- Orange paint.
- Polyurethane varnish (the kind used for floors).

Steps:
1. Sand the entire surface of the table with 180-grade sandpaper until it is totally smooth. Once you get this result, clean the table with a rag to remove any remaining dust. Apply a coat of primer with a small roller and let dry.
2. Apply purpurine paint with a small roller in thin coats. Don't keep going over what you have already painted so as not to leave streaks. If necessary you can apply more coats but only after the previous ones have dried.
3. Fashion a cardboard cutout with whatever shape you want to paint on the table. Cut out that shape, and place the cardboard on the table, painting orange in the hole left by that shape. Let dry at least 24 hours and finally apply a coat of polyurethane varnish with a roller. Apply at least two coats of varnish so you can use the table without worries and even clean it with water.

Advices:
This kind of table looks great in a modern-style living room.
