Utility: Cheer up a flat bathroom wall.
Difficulty: Average
Cost: Average
Materials: - Blue acrylic paint for the wall
- Sandpaper, brushes, roller
- Heavy-duty tape
- Silicone
- Starfish
Steps:
1. The most important step is to adequately prepare the bathroom wall. You need to sandpaper powerfully so that the earlier paint does not show through and then wipe with a dry cloth. Place tape around the ceiling and tiles to ensure the paint does not spread.
2. Paint the wall a deep blue colour. Two hands may be necessary.
3. When the paint is dry (between 24 and 48 hours), place the starfish one by one on to the wall and combining different colours and shapes.
To ensure that they are well stuck on to the wall, it is best to place a blob of white silicone on to the back of the starfish and press for a few minutes.
Advices: - If the bathroom or toilet is very small, this is a very simple and cheap way to give a personal touch.
- You can also stick on flat seashells if desired.
