THE BOUTIQUE THE WEATHER INTERACTIVE CAMPSA GUIDE
Index / Card Create Fireplace
Keep your possessions in old suitcases
Utility: Decorate a room of the house and store things you don't use everyday.
Difficulty: Low
Cost: Average
Materials:
- Old wooden suitcases.
- Colored wax.
- Burning alcohol.
- Aluminum scouring pad.

Steps:
1. Clean the suitcases well on the inside and outside, rubbing them with the alcohol and scouring pad. Wipe with dry cloth to remove dirt.
2. Once dry, apply colored wax to cover up flaws, then polish the surface. Repeat this operation several times. Apply just a small amount of wax so that it soaks into the wood and nourishes it. Inside the suitcase you can apply varnish if you want, so long as it is flat. This will be more practical if you are going to store something delicate in the suitcase.

Advices:
- Place them on top of each other, underneath a mirror, a picture or a set of old photographs. They are a splendid decorative touch in a corner of a bedroom, a small living room or a large foyer.
- If you use leather suitcases, clean with alcohol and a cloth (never a scouring pad) and then, instead of wax, use moisturizing cream or special cream for leather. If the suitcases are deteriorated on the inside, paper them for greater cleanliness, choosing paper covered in plastic.
