Materials: - Large white tile.
- Ceramic paint or light bulb varnish (DIY).
- Fine watercolour brush.
- Carbon paper.
Steps:
1. Cut the carbon paper to the size of the tile and copy your favourite text on to it. Write the message in typewriter style or in a fancy font. You can also add simple border around the text.
2. Place the carbon paper on the tile and carefully rub the text and border on to the tile with a pencil or pen. Then begin slowly painting over the words and border with fine strokes. You can buy a special ceramic paint, but if you cannot find it you can equally well use light bulb varnish, which dries very well is and is available in many colours.
3. Once dry, frame the tile and hang it up.
Advices: The text you choose may be a poem that is special to you and cheers you up when you're feeling down. This will help you to remember it. An intimate and welcome decorative item that you can hang up in the hallway, corridor or bedroom.
