Materials:
- Fabric of a bright color that contrasts with the current one.
- Tassels of the same color.
- Needle and thread.
Steps:
1. Measure the blinds and buy enough material for a strip of 15 cm at each side. Take out the rods and sew the strip of fabric around it, only on the two sides. Keep in mind that you have to leave a spot unsewn � this is where the metal rods will go � so that the mechanism continues to work.
2. If the bottom of the blind i straight, this is the perfect time to change it. One suggestion is to make some gentle waves (cutting the material carefully) and finish them off with tassels the same color as the strip.

This remodeling job looks better if the contrast in colors is striking.
