Utility: To store, arrange and have at hand your favorite books.
Difficulty: Medium.
Cost: Average.
Materials: - White boards cut to order.
- Wood saw.
- Rawl plugs and brackets (available in hardware stores).
- White plastic paint.
Steps:
1. Measure the width of the spot where you want to install the shelf. Then make a cardboard template that fits the wall perfectly.
2.
Draw the template onto each board. Use the saw to cut off the edges so it fits into the space. Once this is done, distribute the shelves over the distance you want. Use a pencil to make the spots where you will install the Rawl plugs.
3.
Install the Rawl plugs, two on each side of the board. If it is wider than 50 cm you might think about putting one in the back so it does not warp and can withstand weight. Finish off the edges with a bit of white paint and screw in the brackets. Although they are small they are sturdy and easy to install.
Advices: You can place this shelf in any space that you think is going to waste. Thus you put it to use. |
