Synopsis: Pepa (Carmen Maura) is a dubbing actress who is having an affair with her colleague Iv�n (Fernando Guill�n), who happens to be married to Luc�a (Julieta Serrano). During a frantic day in which she asks an estate agent to rent her flat, Pepa is visited by her friend Candela (Mar�a Barranco), who has just found out that her lover is a Shiite terrorist. While showing her flat to Carlos (Antonio Banderas), son of Iv�n and Luc�a, and to his girlfriend Marisa (Rossy de Palma), Pepa finds out that Iv�n plans to run off to Stockholm with a lawyer called Paulina Morales (Kiti Manver). Later on, Luc�a, two policemen investigating Candela's relation with the Shiites and a technician visit the flat. Luc�a manages to steal a gun and run off to the airport to look for her husband, while Pepa follows her to make she doesn't do anything stupid.
