Synopsis: Renfield (Dwight Frye) is a British real estate agent who travels to Transylvania to oversee the purchase of a mansion for a nobleman named Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi). When he arrives at the castle, night has fallen and he is received by the count himself, who turns Renfield into his accomplice. Dracula travels to London with the help of Renfield, who goes mad after his master kills the entire crew of the ship they are on. Once they arrive in London the count keeps chalking up victims, preying on Lucy Weston (Frances Dade) and Mina Seward (Helen Chandler), whom he comes across on the street. Mina's family, worried about her strange behavior under the spell of the count, turns to Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan), an expert vampire-hunter.
