Synopsis: Young Rosemary Woodhouse (Mia Farrow) and her husband Guy Woodhouse (John Cassavetes) move into a large New York apartment located in a building with something of a bad reputation given the disaster that befell it in the 19th century. Rosemary soon becomes pregnant, but as the couple decorate the house, strange things start happening, such as the suicide of a girl taken in by their neighbours, a rival of Guy's becoming blind and the death of a friend. Rosemary starts to think that she has been inseminated by a diabolic sect to give birth to the devil.
