Synopsis: In the year 2019, the city of Los Angeles is threatened by replicants, human-looking robots which were created by engineers to work in outer space but have turned rebellious. Detective Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is commissioned by police chief Bryant (M. Emmet Walsh) to hunt down and eliminate four such androids who, after committing 20 killings, escaped from their work station in space and returned to Earth. The leader of this fugitive group, Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), is looking for their creator to demand that he extend their life span.
