Isla M�gica Located in the urban centre of Seville, on the site that housed the 1992 Universal Exhibition, this park offers a wide range of attractions, the pick of which are: - Jaguar: a giant 765 metre-long rollercoaster that reaches a maximum speed of 85 kilometres per hour and a highest drop of 32 metres. - Iguaz�: large rafts cross an erupting volcano and plunge down an immense waterfall at more than 50 kilometres per hour. - Cubic Planetarium of the Spanish Pavilion: an attraction that is unique in Europe. Equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual systems and a semispherical screen covering 230 square metres as well as 10,000 watts of sound, the planetarium is the ideal place to watch films on the universo. Port Aventura This park, located between the coastal towns of Salou and Vila-Seca in Tarragona, is already an established favourite, as are its top attractions, such as: -�Dragon Kahn, the first rollercoaster boasting eight inverted loops, that reaches top speeds of over 90 kilometres per hour in under a minute. -�Stampida, the only two-way wooden rollercoaster in the world. Added to these are other equally thrilling attractions. - Templo del Fuego, a true adventure in the Mexican jungle complete with water and fire effects. - Sea Odissey, the most advanced underwater adventure attraction in the world, created by the designers of Universal Orlando's Jurassic Park and Back to the Future rides. Warner Bros This park, located in the town of San Mart�n de la Vega, 25 kilometres from Madrid, was inaugurated this year. In order to compete with other Spanish theme parks it boasts such outstanding attractions as: - La Venganza del Enigma, Europe's highest freefall tower at 100 metres. - Wild Wild West, a 1,000 metre wooden rollercoaster reaching 35 metres at its highest point that is a homage to the film of the same name. - Superman, a rollercoaster that reaches speeds of up to 90 kilometres per hour, dropping from nearly 50 metres high to continue a spiral climb through seven loops. - Twister, where visitors are suspended in cabins that drag them backwards 40 meters above the ground before plummeting down at a speed of 80 kilometres per hour.
