Utility: Converting glass bottles into unique and original containers.
Difficulty: Easy
Cost: Low
Materials: - Various containers that you have been saving or that are lying about the house: perfume bottles, liquor bottles, bath salt bottles of different shapes and sizes. They must be of transparent white glass.
- Glass paint of the same colour.
Steps:
1. Wash the containers thoroughly with soap and water and leave them to dry completely (face down).
2. Once dry, you can proceed to paint them on the inside so that the colour becomes transparent and the outside can be washed when necessary. To do this, pour in a little paint and move it slowly around the bottle until the colour spread out.
3. Repeat this action until the right tone is achieved.
Advices: - If small, the bottles can be grouped together in a corner. They can also be placed on a windowsill, in the bathroom, or, if you a have niche spare in the corridor, on a glass shelf.
- Play with the colour of the bottle so that it reflects on to the wall or the piece of furniture supporting it.
