Utility: Renew your entrance with colour, giving it a completely new and daring appearance.
Difficulty: Average
Cost: Low
Materials: - Two different colours of paint, which contrast well and are preferably of the same brand.
- Masking tape.
- Two different-sized rollers.
Steps:
1. Check the condition of the walls. If necessary, smooth down using rough sandpaper. Have a trial run by painting a hidden corner and wait for the paint to dry, as the colour changes considerably from wet to dry.
2. Cover all surfaces that do not need painting with tape, such as doors, windows, skirting board and ceiling.
3. Paint a wall with each colour. In an entrance lacking in natural light, the paint gives the area a surprising luminosity. In small areas, you can place a simple adornment to contrast with the paint's tones.
Advices: Earthenware, beams and the colour of the walls contrast with the practically bare space to become the centre of attention in the entrance.
