Utility: Decorate a bedroom giving a new look and style

Materials:
- An iron curtain rod as wide as the bed.
- Two finials with the same diameter of the rod (sold in hardware stores).
- Enough fabric for the bedspread and headboard.
- Padding (available in stores) for the headboard.
Steps:
1. For the headboard, cut the fabric double-sized. Sew with the padding inside and turn the fabric over. The slit where the bar goes is held from behind with a button so it can be washed.

To make the bedspread: the fabric is cut on top of the mattress, leaving a margin of 8 cm. Create a 2-to 3-cm fringe around the central square, and fold it with pins.
For the bedspread�s flap, cut a long strip (you can add whatever you need) that reaches the floor, allowing for the hem, and attach it to the fringe of the bedspread where you have placed the pins. At the corners make a board so it will stay tight. Then sew the whole thing with a sewing machine.

The bar is attached to the wall with wall plugs at whatever height you want and with whatever end piece you like (spirals, flowers, swords etc.). Slip it through the slit of the headboard and hang it fairly tightly.
Advices:
This is an inexpensive way to redo a bedroom. If it's possible you shoould see the fabrics at you room because sometimes they look good and sometimes they don�t. They are perfect for staying in fashion without buying all new furniture and give the room a new look. The most important thing about a house is that it not bore you. You have to know how to transform it by adding new elements.
