Utility: Straightening up closets and improving the way they look inside.
Difficulty: Medium
Cost: Low
Materials: - Long-sleeve shirts you no longer use. If possible, they should be men's shirts.
- Cotton ribbon in bright colors, a meter and a half for each sleeve.
Steps:
1. Cut the sleeves off the shirt at the armhole, and also cut off the cuffs. Sew the sleeves closed at the upper part, with a backstitch, so that it ends up like a sack. Turn it inside out.
2.
Make a hem where the cuff was. This will allow you to slip the tape in and close the sleeve, then make a big bow.
Advices: As these are done in pairs, each shoe goes in a sleeve. They are great when traveling. The cotton tape should be of a color that contrasts with that of the shirt. The inside of the closet will change totally. You will no longer have it full of shoe boxes or loose shoes, and instead give it a clean, young look.
