Utility: Give a corner of your use a rustic and comforting look.
Difficulty: Average
Cost: Low
Materials: - Several tiles.
- Nails, plugs and hooks of various sizes (DIY stores).
- Nylon string (fishing line).
- Wax or varnish.
Steps:
1. Carefully make a hole in each end of the tile with the smallest drill bit available, ensuring it does not break. Place the plug and the screw.
2. Drill two larger holes in the wall, fit in the corresponding plugs and then the hooks to support the tiles.
3. Before installing the light bulb, fix up the head with a string so that the bulb does not touch the wall or the tile.
Advices: - This installation is very low cost and gives any corner of your house an original, personalised look to any corridor or hall, for example.
- Given that the light is very low, it is best to install two bulbs and place a rustic mirror or picture in the middle.
- They are especially attractive in the garden.
