Utility: Keep the kids room neat.
Difficulty: Average.
Cost: Medium.
Materials: - Brightly colored fabric.
- Brightly colored bias binding (fabric stores).
- Wooden curtain rod.
- Hooks, Rawlplugs.
Steps:
1. First get a wooden curtain rod about one meter long. The decorations should have a round surface. We will place the rod on the wall at a height that is appropriate for children. This way they get their things out and put them back. Install the Rawlplugs and hooks and set up the rod.
2.
Cut a rectangle of double-layer fabric as lons as the rod. Spread it out so you can made four or five pockets measuring 20 x 35 cm. Sew the two layers of fabric at the part separating the pockets and the bottom part so that the upper part remains open.
3.
Make some small straps of a size that can pass over the rod. The first of them should be sewn at both ends, and then in each hem of the pocket to withstand the weight of the things put in them. Finally, around each piece sew the bias binding, which will be the decorating piece that stands out most.
Advices: Choose fabric that is identical or similar to that of the cushions in the room. It is best if they offer a contrast to bedspread. |
