This version, which the Fabia WRC is based on (the �koda vehicle that competes in the top category of the WRC) is the top of the range. The Fabia RS uses the powerful 130bhp 1.9 TDI engine with an injector-pump system that brings a torque of 310Nm at only 1 900rpm. Combined with the six speed manual transmission it has a standing start acceleration of only 9.6secs and a top speed of 204kph.

With the use of the sport suspension system, the body is 10mm lower than on other Fabia models, and the active security systems include disc brakes on the four wheels (with the calipers painted green), ABS, MSR and ASR all as standard. The most remarkable feature on the new model - and which it shares with all the TDI engines in the Fabia range - is the excellent quality-price relationship.
� As for the exterior, the design offers a personalisation that lets you appreciate the sports character of the model: a front bumper with an integrated skirting - which holds the round fog lights - with three air intakes to provide ventilation ftr the radiator and the brakes.
