The new Audi 220bhp A8 3.0 V6� is a complete large luxury saloon. The aluminium six cylinder in V unit with a five valve cylinder head and capacity of 2 976cc make it reach 220bhp at 6 300rpm. The Multitronic transmission combined with the front wheel drive on the A8 3.0 only consumes 9.6 litres per 100km. And the 3.0 V6 engine complies with the demanding EU4 emissions norms on all the A8 models.

If the mechanics are luxurious, the standard equipment is nothing less, both on the long and normal wheelbase versions. So, in passive safety it incorporates driver�s and passenger�s airbags with two phase opening; lateral airbags front and rear; head airbags (sideguard) front and back and active front headrests. The active safety systems include, among others, ABS with electronic distribution of the braking force EBV.
