According to what Mercedes-Benz Espa�a has recently announced, the SLR McLaren, presented to the public for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2003, will have a recommended price of �482 500, taxes, transport and pre-delivery expenses included. The first units will begin their delivery as of February and Spain will only receive five units in 2004.

Just like the exclusive Maybach, the Mercedes SLR McLaren can�be handed over to the purchaser at an SLR Sales Centre or be picked at their Centre of Excellence in Stuttgart, which is their competition centre; this has an area of 2 200 square metres and�it shares this centre with the German manufacturer�s luxury section.�The owners of a Mercedes SLR McLaren will also be in permanent contact with the company via the "Personal Liaison Manager" (PLM).
� During the first year�of�production, the colours and supply of leather uphosteries will be restricted. The choice will be restricted to two colours for the body: silver and black. The uphostery, in all cases leather, could be grey, black or red currant. However, as of 2005 a customisation programme will be available that will allow purchasers to choose between a wide range of body and upholstery colours. |
