The Renault Sport is the sports version of the M�gane programme. The engine is based on the 2 litre turbo, this 1 998cc F4Rt unit delivers a peak power of 225bhp at 5 500rpm with a torque of 300Nm at 3 000rpm. It is connected to a 6 speed gearbox and so the M�gane Sport Renault brings strong sensations at intermediate speeds but manages to get a low level of consumption.

On the sports side the most outstanding is the innovative front suspension, with a new front running gear with independent pivot that makes excellent steering possible; with an impressive precision and stability on the road. In addition, it has large diameter disc brakes, ABS with EBV, SAFE, ESP... as well as details like climate control automatic, atermic windscreen, speed regulator and limiter, electrically adjustable exterior rear-view mirrors, tyre pressure control system all as standard...

Available with both 3 and 5 doors, this sports version incorporates all the the Renault M�gane�s attributes of comfort and safety. In Spain, with an estimated production in a year of 300 units, the M�gane Sport Renault will be on sale this April (�28 800 for the 3 door version and �29 300 for the 5 door version).
