The new features on this new generation of the successful the A4 and A4 Avant can be seen on the renewed outer contour which at the front end culminates in the typical grille from the German company. The rear part has also been redesigned with new horizontal lines and the lateral profile which, unlike the present generation, attracts the attention because the waistline and Dynamic Line design is characterized by more curved lateral surfaces.

 

The engines also contain new features, so the public can choose between nothing less than nine powerful units, including four totally new engines with up to 255bhp. The most  sophisticated modern technologies are all represented, FSI and turbo on the petrol units are used along with revolutionary piezoelectric type injectors on the TDI three litre.

 

Moreover, the new range comes with a multitude of technological details that raise the category of the A4. Among others, it has xenon Plus type light clusters with illumination on curves as an option, the continuous variation multitronic gearbox, the permanent total traction quattro, systems for the protection of the occupants such as two stage airbags in the front and active headrests etc.
