| 2004 starts with good sales figures |
| According to the data published by Anfac, National Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers, car registrations in January increased by 9.2% with respect to the same date the previous year. With this result a new record is established for the month in Spain.
On the other hand the off-road vehicle market, with excellent results at the end of last year, has achieved an rise of 22.9% compared to January 2003. |

| The car market will grow by 4% in 2004 |
| �The Spanish market for cars could grow by around 4% this year, this means that a record figure will be reached for car registrations (between 1 425 000 and 1 450 000 unit)� according to estimates made by the Chairman of Aniacam (National Association of Automobile Importers) Germ�n L�pez Madrid, who predicts a �Fall in car registrations in the second half of the year�. |

| Kia consolidates in 2003 |
| Kia is the fastest growing make in the EU according to data from the Association of European Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA). During 2003 the Korean company sold a total of 107 631 units compared to the 72 529 registered in 2002, which is a rise of 48.4%. The five countries with the highest number of Kia sales were Germany (26 608 units), UK (21 384), Italy (19 396), Spain (18 693) and Netherlands (10 187). |

| The Saab 9-3, among the most attractive cars |
| The magazine Newsweek published its guide for presents; Tip Sheet at the end of last year. Only one car was awarded with the title of the Most Attractive in its category: the new 210bhp Saab 9-3 Cabrio Aero with yellow colour scheme. The guide to presents in Newsweek is made up of a selection of the most attractive luxury products produced each year, as well as trips, accessories, games and food among others. |

| The new Focus will be made at Almussafes |
| The next generation of the Ford Focus will be made at Almussafes in Valencia. The Valencian factory will be the second, together with the German factory in Saarlouis, to produce this new model. In addition to the new Focus, Almussafes will continue to make the current models of the Fiesta, Ka and Mazda 2, with a capacityof around 400 000 units annually, according to a Ford Europa announcement. |
