| Agreement between management and unions at Seat |
| The management of Seat and the majority unions (UGT and CC.OO.) have signed the XVII Collective Agreement for Seat which includes advances concerning labour flexibility as well as a new concept of work organisation and labour relations. The signing of this agreement means, according to Seat, that the competitiveness of the company and the stability of employment can be assured by means of, among other aspects, work organization and measures of flexibility such as "flexi-time". Under this concept it is understood that, depending on the demands of the market there could be more or less work, company owing in the first case or worker owing in the second but always receiving the same salary. |
