For some strange reason which we do not know, many elements have come together in order to give the Formula 1 World Championship an emotion and interest which were not expected at the start of the season.�The Ferrari's are not dominating as�before,�the Williams are running better, Raikkonen makes the most of a McLaren which it not what it was and, from time to time, the Renaults�pop their head�up.

If we add to this unexpected exits of the safety car and people who run out onto the track in order to protest, putting their lives in danger as well as that of the drivers, we find ourselves with reace which are�as chaotic as that experienced�in Silverstone.�Barrichello won the race but anybody could have won. We saw Schumacher scrappling with the Minardis, a Toyota leading and, above all, dozens of overtakings, of all manners, which shows that F1 cars can overtake when they feel like it, aerodynamics apart. When the circuits is wide and people want to F1 cars can scrap just like�on a Kart track.

The result from the British GP keeps the situation wide open and Schumacher, who had a really tough time overtaking Villeneuve, is still the favourite, but a little less. With regards to Alonso, he raced well, but the Renault car seems to have lost reliability in an alarming manner and, like this, it is impossible to achieve good results.
