�All in all the result is good after starting from the back of the grid. We have got more points again and that is important� Alonso said at the end of the race. His face was not a picture of happiness, since he considers that the wrong tactics prevented him from being sixth. �We had planned a two stop strategy, but when I stopped the first time they said that the best was to change to three. On the second stop the plans had changed and they put 100 kilos of fuel in to hold on until the end� the driver explained.

�If we had used the three stop strategy, I could have got away from Coulthard. On the Saturday  qualifying lap I made a mistake and today the team has made a mistake� he added. His start, as always, was spectacular. He overtook four cars before the first curve and in just six laps waas up to eighth. �Starting at the back is more exciting, because everything happens very quickly. Then I took advantage of the first wet curves to overtake several cars� he  explained simply.

Jarno Trulli had a good performance this time. He was fifth, although far from Barrichello in fourth position. �This is a satisfactory result after starting eighth. The first third of the race was verynice for me, fighting with Button and Barrichello�. So Renault has confirmed at the Sepang circuit that the new R24 is reliable. In the two first dates of the season, Trulli and Alonso have won points. This means that Briatore;s team has a toatl of 14 points and is third in the World Constructors� Championship.
