The owner of Renault has expressed total support for Alonso "He is a strong person, you do not need to think that the pressure has got to him. His reaction was normal, because he is still a very young driver. I agree with him about the incident with Ralf in Monaco, since the car being lapped must get out of the way. Fernando just has to  carry on developing and these things are part of the learning process".

Briatore pours a lot of praise on the driver who he dreams of winning the world title with "He is only 22 years old and he is intelligent. I know that the incident has had a lot of publicity above all in Spain, but he will be able to cope with all this pressure. He is a driver who everybody will speak about over the next ten years. He is going to be at the top of Formula 1 for a long time. In races he is always very competitive. For me he is fantastic ".

The beginning of season for Renault has been spectacular. The team has already got a victory, they are second in the Constructors� Championship and the car, the R24, continues to make  progress. "I just hope that we can carry on like this, winning more points, more podiums and some more victories. The team is very strong, the atmosphere is very good and we have two brilliant drivers" says a delighted Flavio Briatore.
