For some years now, telemetry has become an invaluable help for all riders. Speeds and gears used are only some of the various details available to riders in order to improve their times on the track.
There are several interesting facts to see on the three telemetry graphics of a fast lap made by Valentino Rossi, Fonsi Nieto and Dani Pedrosa at the Jerez circuit. For example, in the corner at the end of the straight and after reaching speeds of 2093 Km/h in 6th gear for Pedrosa, 244 in 5th for Fonsi and 262 Km/h for Rossi, you can see how the speeds become quite similar for all of them - 96 Km/h Pedrosa, 94 Km/h Fonsi, 100 Km/h Rossi-, and that Pedrosa is even faster than Fonsi in the corner itself.
Another angle where the speeds become almost equal is the corner at the entrance of the main straight. The three bikes are very close again, but this time Fonsi is the fastest with 93 Km/h, ahead of Rossi with 80.3 Km/h, and Pedrosa with 78.7 Km/h.
