The Sepang track, opened in 1999, is one of the safest and most modern ones in the Championship. It was aimed to hold the Formula 1 Malaysian GP and it has an astonishing 16-metre wide track, which is not too difficult. These conditions are perfect for the F1 cars and the four-stroke bikes to show all their power. Riders can chose between many lines in turns, so overtaking possibilities are high. Podium 2001 500
