Situated on the south coast of Australia, Phillip Island it is considered as one of the most technical and complicated circuits in the WSC. Its 4 448m length mixes in almost equal proportions fast curves with others that are taken slowly creating a tiring circuit. It lacks almost practically any straights and this obliges riders to make a real physical effort. Under these conditions marked by a breeze and humidity coming from the proximity of the sea, two stroke bikes do not usually have many problems to perform at a similar level as 4 strokes.
