The Aut�dromo de Mugello was inaugurated in 1974, but did hot host a GP until two years later. In 1991 it became the usual venue for the WSC, first as the San Marino GP and later the Italian. It is 5.245km long and combines fast curves with slow ones. It has several drops and the riders say that it is �very technical�. On the 1 141m straight speeds of up to 300kph are reached.
