Valentino Rossi has given the Italian crowd a great show. The WorldChampion�s victory has been clear right from the beginning as the rider has overtaken Max Biaggi in the moment he has wanted to do so and has been increasing his distance until 2 seconds. Rossi�s victory celebration has been greater than any other before. The tifosi have taken the Circuit layout arriving to the pit-lane, entering bikes on the track and getting into the boxes. Police was near the podium to keep the crowd�s distance and Valentino�s mechanics have been there too. This situation brings any good to the Mugello Circuit.

Rossi has won in front of Biaggi, Ukawa and Carlos Checa. The Spanish rider has ended just one tenth away from a podium position. The victory of the Italian rider has given a great end made for the Italian Circuit�s crowd. Marco Melandri has taken the 250 cc victory and Manuel Poggiali has been the best in the 125 cc. But not only Italian riders have taken advantage of this Italian GP. Just before the Catalunya GP, in 15 days time, Fonsi Nieto, Toni El�as, Pablo Nieto, Daniel Pedrosa and Carlos Checa have also been giving their best.

Once again, Fonsi Nieto has performed a great race and has managed to climb up to the podium keeping his 250 cc World-Leadership. The Spanish started from behind climbing positions right until the end of the race. He has overtaken Toni El�as in the very last lap and has added his 4th� podium out of five races. El�as� performance has been great too ending on a 4th position. The rider seems ready to fight hard in the 250 cc.

Another Nieto rider, Pablo in this case, has been openning the way towards the podium. It has been his first podium. The �12 + 1� �s son has got a victory in a year in which things begin to go pretty well for this rider.
