The official name is Phakisa Freeway and has a length of 4 242m. Inaugurated in 1999 and 250km from Johannesbourg it is famous for being a fast track but it has some very demanding curves. The altitude, 1 350m above seal level, means that the motorbikes� power can fall by almost 20, and so the riders must use all their skills to get the best out of the bikes.
