Dani Pedrosa achieved his fourth victory of the season in Brno. The fact would not have been exceptional but it is because this victory has a special value. To begin with, it arrived at a moment when Dani needed to reaffirm his authority in the championship after a couple of quite irregular races. What's more, because the Brno circuit, which is very demanding on the motors, was a priori the one that least favoured the characteristics of his Honda.

Dani's weekend has been impeccable. An average trajectory in training, looking for the best tuning and a perfect race performance, without making a single mistake. He controlled all his rivals without getting too close to dangerous moments, he did not stop lapping at a very high rhythm and when his great rival Stefano Perugini came too close, he managed to get half a second out of nowhere to the great surprise of the spectators, triumphing without appeal.

This consolidates his advantage in the World Cahmpionship and he is now more than ever the great favourite. All of this without forgetting about an excellent Elas in the 250 series and the prodigious show laid on by Rossi and Gibernau in MotoGP.
