Pedrosa wrote his name in the history books when he became the youngest Spanish rider ever to win the 125cc title and the second youngest to win the world title last October. Now he is also the youngest to win a 250cc GP, 18 years 7 months and 11 days. "It is incredible what has happened - said Dani after the race - "But it is not a dream that I am living. I have had to work very hard to get ready for the start of the WSC championship and this is my reward, but also for all the people who have helped me in these last few months. From my family, to Alberto Puig, from the first to the last physiotherapist that has been with me, to the doctors who have been monitoring me, to my physical trainer, and Telefnica who have continued to support me and Honda, for the patience that they have had in me all this time ".
Dani Pedrosa will be the main attraction next week in the Spanish GP, at the circuit of Jerez, but he does not want fans to lose sight of reality. "My objectives are still the same: to continue working calmly and to get used to the category. We have begun very well, with a victory that nobody expected, but it may be that in Jerez I cannot even get on the podium. I must carry on progressing and we have not won anything yet; this has just begun" warns the World Champion.
