| 4-. Can my car use unleaded petrol? | | | Many cars can use unleaded petrol even without a catalytic converter. To find out if your car can, see the list with information provided by the national association of car manufacturers (ANFAC) and the national association of car and truck importers (ANIACAM). The list includes make, model, and year information for cars that can use unleaded gas. |
| 5-. What if my car is not prepared for unleaded petrol after 2002? | | | As you may know, European regulations prohibiting the use of leaded petrol in Spain are effective as of January 1st, 2002. If your vehicle cannot use unleaded petrol, you will be able to find a new type of petrol at your REPSOL YPF service stations which will work in your car, and which is much less polluting. |
| 6-. Which type of fuel is best to use in my home? | | | You can use gasoil or bottled gas (propane and butane) in your home. Gasoil covers all heating and hot water needs, but an electric or butane system is necessary for cooking. Bottled gas can be the solution for your heating, cooking, and hot water needs, and special gas appliances are available. Another alternative is natural gas if pipelines reach your home. Consult with an official Repsol butane and gasoil installation technician to assess your options with regard to cost and comfort and to suit your specific needs.

You can use your SOLRED COLECTIVOS card at Repsol, Campsa and Petronor service stations and highway toll booths, and get a 2% discount on fuel purchases.
