SETTING YOUR BROWSER
In order to maximize your visits to the Repsol YPF site, we recommend you set your browser according to some minimum standards:
Video resolution.
Set your video resolution to a minimum of 800x600 pixels to avoid horizontal scrolling when visualizing the pages.
Number of colors.
We recommend you work with a minimum of 16 bits (65,536 colors). Setting your screen to 256 colors will affect the appropriate resolution of images included on the pages.
Modem speed.
We recommend the use of a 33,600 bps modem or higher in order to speed up the loading processes.
Cache.
Activate your browser�s cache (Temporary Files for Internet Explorer). The fastest option is to load pages �at the beginning of each session� (Netscape) or �everytime you start Internet Explorer� (Explorer). If you choose the option �Always� or �Everytime you load a page�, your modem speed will decrease but you will always get the latest version of the page, should this had been updated since you last viewed it.
Cookies.
Your browser must accept cookies in order to register at repsol-ypf.com. If it doesn�t, you will have to type in your username and password everytime you access a user-restricted area. Both Netscape and Explorer accept the use of cookies as default. If you wish to benefit from all services provided from our site but do not want to allow for every cookie to enter your hard disk, you may set your computer to ask you for confirmation whenever a cookie is being sent
