| Slip |
|
Tyre slip takes place when transmitting a force quickly. during braking or when taking a curve. At this moment the speed of the wheel does not coincide with the linear velocity of the vehicle and for this reason slip takes place. If the slip is high a noticeable difference in the speeds of the tyre and the ground are noticed. this increases the temperature of the tyre and accelerates wear.
