Indicator
A flashing amber light located on the side of the vehicle (bike. car or truck). It indicates to other road users and pedestrians the manoeuvres that will be carried out by the vehicle.
 
Indirect injection
Petrol injection system in which the fuel does not enter directly into the combustion chamber. but into the intake manifold. In diesel engines with this system. the diesel is injected into a pre-chamber in the cylinder head connected to the main combustion chamber.
 
Injection cut-off
A phenomenon that is produced when the engine reaches its maximum rpm. la The fuel injection is cut-off automatically so that excessively high revs are reached which can damage the engine. Later the fuel starts to flow again when the engine turns at acceptable levels below the maximum level.
