| Injector pump |
|
This is a device for diesel injection that separates each injector body from an in-line pump and places it near the combustion chamber. Each injector stops working by the pump shaft and is worked directly by a lever placed on the camshaft. The control of the injected flow can be carried out electronically via engine management. Its advantage is the reduction of the distance that the fuel travels when it is subjected to high-pressure. avoiding the fluctuations that appear in the channels of in-line or rotating pumps.
